I’m a Part 4 Computer Science student at the University of Zimbabwe—actively focused on building real systems. My work combines web development with automation and practical networking/security fundamentals.

Professional Experience

Practical exposure from an industrial attachment—presented with a focus on technical exposure and professional environment.

Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB)

8 September 2025 – 31 July 2026

Industrial Attachment Technical Exposure

I completed an industrial attachment at TIMB in a technical support role. My responsibilities centred on supporting staff IT needs, configuring workstations and user accounts, and assisting with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the organisation's data centre and internal systems.

Technical exposure: Worked with Windows Server (Active Directory / Group Policy), Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware / Proxmox), network switches and routers, DNS/DHCP services, backup and restore workflows, cPanel-hosted services, and basic monitoring tools.
Real-world workflow: Configured staff workstations and accounts, applied system updates/patches, assisted with server maintenance and backups, supported data-centre operations, and helped triage and escalate incidents to minimise downtime.
Professional practices: Produced and maintained technical documentation, performed testing and troubleshooting, managed support tickets, and followed change-control procedures during maintenance windows.
Outcome / note: All projects listed on this website were completed independently by me.
